Fuse privacy policy
Effective 29 September 2026
This policy explains what happens to your data when you play Fuse, the block puzzle game for Android (package com.pedrolopes.fuse). Fuse is made by Fusion Games, run by Pedro Lopes in Portugal. We are the data controller for the game itself; Google is responsible for the advertising described below.
In short: Fuse has no accounts and we run no servers for it. Your progress stays on your phone. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some device data to do that.
Data that stays on your phone
Fuse saves your progress in a file on your device so you can pick up where you left off:
- your best score, current level and star ratings
- your coins, daily streak and daily challenge best score
- your sound and vibration settings
This file never leaves your phone through Fuse, and we cannot see it. Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes it. If you use Android's device backup, Google may include it in your backup under Google's own terms.
Ads from Google AdMob
Fuse is free and shows two kinds of ads, both provided by Google AdMob:
- optional rewarded videos you choose to watch for a bomb or to continue after losing
- an occasional full-screen ad between levels, at most every third level and never in the daily challenge
To serve and measure these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the game collects data from your device and sends it to Google:
| Data | Used for |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID | Showing ads, measuring them, and, if you allow it, personalising them |
| IP address and approximate location derived from it | Choosing ads for your region, fraud prevention |
| Device and app information, such as model, operating system and language | Showing ads that work on your device |
| Ad interactions, such as views and taps | Measuring ads, rewarding you for rewarded videos |
| Diagnostics, such as crash and performance data from the ads SDK | Keeping ads working |
This data is encrypted in transit. Google handles it under its own policies: see how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not receive this data about you individually; AdMob gives us only totals, such as how many ads were shown.
Your choices about ads
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
When you first open Fuse in these regions, Google's consent message asks whether ads may use your data for personalisation and measurement. Our legal basis for that processing is your consent. You can change your answer at any time with the Privacy options button on the Fuse title screen.
Everywhere
- Delete or reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings, usually under Settings, Privacy, Ads or Settings, Google, Ads. Deleting it stops apps from using it for personalised ads.
- Manage how Google personalises ads in My Ad Center.
Rewarded videos are always optional. Ads that are not personalised still use some of the data above, for example to prevent fraud.
Children
Fuse is not directed at children and is meant for players aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used Fuse and want data about them removed, contact us and we will help you reach Google.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Because Fuse keeps your progress only on your device and we run no servers, we hold no personal data about you that we could hand over or delete; the data used for ads is held by Google, which you can reach through the links above. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to a data protection authority; in Portugal that is the CNPD.
Changes to this policy
If the game starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
